Prayer of Adoration to God
Almighty and Everlasting Father,
We come before You, humbled and in awe of Your magnificent presence. You are the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End (Revelation 22:13). Before the mountains were born or You brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting, You are God (Psalm 90:2). We adore You, O Lord, for Your eternal nature, for You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).
Heavenly Father, You are holy, and Your name is above all names (Philippians 2:9). Your holiness is beyond our comprehension, and we stand in reverence of Your purity and righteousness. "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of His glory" (Isaiah 6:3). We are in awe of Your perfection, for in You there is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5).
O Sovereign Lord, Your wisdom is unsearchable and Your ways are beyond tracing out (Romans 11:33). You are the source of all wisdom and knowledge. Your understanding is infinite, and Your judgments are true and just. We marvel at the depth of Your wisdom, for You have laid the foundations of the earth and set the boundaries of the seas (Job 38:4-11).
Gracious God, Your love is boundless and unfailing. You have shown us the greatest love through the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again, granting us eternal life (John 3:16). Your love is patient and kind; it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud (1 Corinthians 13:4). We are overwhelmed by the depth of Your love, which reaches to the heavens, and Your faithfulness, which stretches to the skies (Psalm 36:5).
Merciful Father, Your grace is sufficient for us, and Your power is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). You are the God of all comfort and compassion, who comforts us in all our troubles (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). We are grateful for Your mercy, which is new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). You do not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities (Psalm 103:10).
O Creator of the universe, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm (Jeremiah 32:17). The heavens declare Your glory, and the skies proclaim the work of Your hands (Psalm 19:1). We are in awe of the beauty and majesty of Your creation, which reflects Your greatness and splendor. You are the potter, and we are the clay; we are all the work of Your hand (Isaiah 64:8).
Faithful God, You are our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). You are our rock, our fortress, and our deliverer; in You we take refuge (Psalm 18:2). We trust in Your unfailing promises, for You are faithful to all Your words and loving toward all You have made (Psalm 145:13). Your faithfulness endures through all generations (Psalm 100:5).
O King of kings and Lord of lords, You reign with justice and righteousness. Your throne is established in the heavens, and Your kingdom rules over all (Psalm 103:19). You are the righteous Judge, and Your judgments are true and just (Revelation 19:2). We bow before Your sovereign authority, acknowledging Your supreme rule over all creation.
Ever-present Spirit, You are the breath of life and the source of all truth. You guide us into all truth and remind us of everything Jesus has taught us (John 14:26). We adore You, Holy Spirit, for Your presence within us, for You dwell in our hearts and empower us to live according to God's will (1 Corinthians 3:16). You are our Counselor, our Comforter, and our Advocate.
Lord Jesus, You are the Light of the world, the Bread of life, the Good Shepherd, and the True Vine (John 8:12, John 6:35, John 10:11, John 15:1). We worship You, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29). You are the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through You (John 14:6). We exalt Your name and proclaim Your lordship over our lives.
O God, we lift our hearts in adoration to You. We praise You for Your greatness, Your power, Your wisdom, Your love, Your mercy, Your faithfulness, and Your sovereignty. You are worthy of all honor, glory, and praise. "To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!" (Revelation 5:13).
In the precious name of Jesus, we pray.
Amen.
